Sagar Kabra : Director - Operations

Sagar Kabra is a dedicated and passionate development sector professional with over 12 years of experience. His passion lies in making a positive impact in various fields, including Education, Skill Development, Women Empowerment, Rural Development, Science and Innovation, Environment and Sustainability.

His journey began as a Biotechnologist at a reputed firm, but driven by his deep desire to uplift underserved communities and work towards social causes inspired by his family rooted Gandhian and Vinoba Bhave's philosophy, he switched his career to the development sector. Sagar holds a post-graduate degree in BioTechnology and certifications in Rural Development and Gandhian Peace Studies and he is currently pursuing his Master's in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Having served as a "Science Educator" with Science Express, an initiative by the Government of India and Max Planck Society - Germany, Sagar travelled extensively across India, reaching out to millions of students and educators. This initiative has been acknowledged in the Limca Book of World Records. In his other past assignments, he has worked with children, youth and women from the marginalized communities on developing and monitoring various behavioural change programmes.

Recognized for his leadership potential, Sagar was selected as a representative for the Indian youth delegation at the Indo-Serbia youth dialogue organized by the Confederation of Young Leaders in New Delhi.

Since 2018, Sagar has been associated with the GTT Foundation, where he plays a pivotal role in driving CSR projects centered around tech-led education, innovation and sustainable livelihood for marginalized groups such as urban/rural Women and Youth, Tribals, Artisans, Persons with Disabilities and LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout India. He is marching forward with his vision to create meaningful employment and self-sustainable income generation opportunities by enabling and empowering children, youth and women. Notably, his approaches are strategically aligned with SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) frameworks, ensuring his efforts contribute to a brighter and more inclusive future. Besides this he likes listening to classical music, is an environment enthusiast and a wildlife photographer, this keeps him grounded and close to nature and the communities.
